Trade Mission from Mexico visits Atlanta

A group of eight Mexican companies from the States of Coahuila and Durango visited Atlanta on July 9 and 10 to look for new business opportunities in Georgia.
The companies visited Atlanta in a Trade Mission coordinated by ProMexico, The Mexican Consulate and the Mexican American Business Chamber.

The group that visited Atlanta came from a region in north central Mexico called la Laguna that includes parts of the states of Coahuila and Durango and is well know for its metal fabrication industry, dairy Industry, Food processing, Textile and apparel among others.

This time the trade mission included Talleres Chagan, Stamping Press Laguna and Equipos Inoxidables del Norte in the metal fabrication industry and Fabrica de Dulces Ninis, De La Garza Dulces Finos, El Tampiqueño, Alyrka Snacks y Alimentos Congelados del Mar manufacturers of candies and snacks.

All the companies had meetings with potential buyers, including the main distributors of Mexican products in Georgia for the candy and snacks manufacturers and manufactures of machinery and heavy equipment wanting to source components for their products in Mexico for the Metal fabrication companies.
